Judith Kindler - "The Animals In My Life"

The global pandemic made the earth stand still for us all. For Judith Kindler, this meant two years of being mostly bedridden and unable to create art. By 2022, she finally began painting again with an entirely new perspective. Emerging from a period of darkness and stillness, Kindler set her mind on a brighter future. She brings forth a narrative of strength and optimism in this body of work, through symbolism that is both personal and universal. Respectively, these animals become icons of productivity, peace, and the gentleness of nature.
