Color

This group exhibition is composed of paintings, photographs, and works on paper. The work demonstrates the powerful response that color can elicit from the viewer. Linda Christensen’s figurative paintings deal with life’s everyday occurrences. Her saturated palettes contrast extremes in color and ambiguity of space. The liveliness of Bean Finneran's hand rolled ceramic sculptures resemble the creativity of nature in a bright and playful way. Rana Rochat's new works on paper use scrawling lines that create a rhythm of dots and texture. Gary Komarin’s abstract paintings speak to the subconscious mind and leave much to interpretation. Other featured artists include Laura McPhee, Jane Rosen, Betsy Margolius, Lisa Kokin, Lynda Lowe, Jun Kaneko, and Cole Morgan.
